Doing what we Love

A long time friend recently wrote his first book. I had lost touch with him for years until a few weeks ago, social media, you have to love it. We reconnected and he told me about his plans. He was to have it published very soon. This excited me so much and the excitement grew when he sent me the message and I actually saw the book. Buying it instantly, I was thinking about it all day, waiting for the moment I could kick off my shoes and dive in!

I was not disappointed by no means, I almost finished it the first night. It was just in time for me. I needed to reconnect with myself and take a hard look at some of my actions lately. This is something that we must constantly do in life and I had just gotten to busy. This book offers easy solutions to change our behaviors that we may not be happy with or could use improvement.

On tonight’s read, he offered up two tests to look closer at your personality. I did those two test and was pretty amazed how close they are to who I am today, and of course how far I am from the girl I want to be. So there’s work to be done, never ending work, growth and learning, luckily I enjoy all these things.

I am extremely inspired to continue doing what I love everyday professionally but also sometimes that gets the back burner way to often, doing what I love personally.

I started when I opened the old kindle to read the book and I will continue to save a little time for myself each day like this.

What are some of the things that you have been missing out on?

Said book can be found here

I hope you enjoy and find your bliss!
