If I Never Knew

166

The antagonist sits along and waits

Struggling with the choices he’s made

Stuck by hateful bitter thoughts

Afraid somehow, he will be caught

He is armed by words and wonder

How miserable is he, no need to ponder?

If I never knew that pain

Of standing in his frozen rain

Captivated by his thoughts and dreams

Unbeknownst his hateful schemes

If I never knew this man of terror

I would have not seen my ways of error

The toxic environments had been embraced

What seemed so normal, has been erased

From my life but still in mind

To stay away from all unkind

Much Love Much Life
