Gratitude, The Challenge....

Just Remember to Smile

Self Talk: 365 D7

Children tend to laugh when they make a mistake. I was a teenager when I first discovered this. It was on the tennis court and I would make a mistake and lose the point and I would smile. This is one thing I remember my mother telling me that she was proud of me for doing. Although she wanted me to take the sport seriously, she didn’t want me to be too serious about it. She wanted me to laugh at my mistakes, learn from them and move on.

We can all learn from our mistakes, I do believe that we should reflect on them and find out how we can do things better. But I do not believe we should carry those mistakes for very long. They get heavy after a while. This is hard for us as adults to remember. We have so much depending on us.

It seems as though everything in life is a lesson. There’s no need to beat ourselves up over mistakes and hard times. Just smile and move through it. This will make the process so much easier.

Remember the mantra: I am beautiful, I am enough, I shine and I am Blessed in all this mess!
