Love, Destruction & the Aftermath

146

Starts so pure and sweet

A chance to take, two paths that meet

Kind and mystifying bliss

Leading up to the first big kiss

Dancing and singing all through the night

Honest devotion holding on so tight

Mutual feeling, time well spent

With the one that has been heaven sent

Then one day, just out of the blue

Something snapped and they broke into

His anger was maddening, loud and clear

So unexpected and constructed great fear

They tried to talk and made some vows

Promises broken, too much to allow

She could not face the bitter unspoken

All her words because false and broken

Leaving in the middle of the night

Shaking and scared, too tired to fight

The end was never really decided

Besides one truth that neither party provided

An understanding of the other one’s heart

What was needed as to not to part

The grief and trauma each one had

Before meeting together, both nomads

Words were written, they can never take back

Across the hearts of those with no slack

Random thoughts of doom. Rainy days of gloom

Heartbreaking nights but alas, no more fights

Loneliness that can never be filled

Now that this love has been killed

Much Love Much Life
