Values: 365 D9
Welcome to the rat race… This could have been mentioned once we graduated high school for some, college for others. No one ever mentions this, no one says, “ hey, your going to look up in 20 years and be very disappointed.” There are a rare few that can actually look back and be thankful, that they were able to stop and smell the roses, enjoy their kids, go on vacation.. These people had a clear understanding of what matters most in their life. They knew their values. As stated yesterday, Values are a person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life.
So for today, let’s enjoy the day, hopefully not working, being able to relax. Maybe take some time to rediscover the most important things in your life. Is there anything that you used to love doing that you have not had the opportunity to do? Taking a walk in nature, browsing your favorite shop, grabbing an ice cream cone? Anything that you have longed to do but you just keep putting it off, do it today!
I am going somewhere with this, I promise. This will help you remember, no matter what you choose to do, there will be a list of things that you do not do anymore that you love. Start making a list of these things if you like, you will probably need it later.
Until tomorrow, shine bright as the sun!
