The Way Back When

224

One moment was hectic and flew right by

Little did we know, a blink of an eye

The end was over, came too soon

A stary night, a pale full moon

Rise and fall, summer night in June

One chance to start all over once more

So much had happened, pain of the core

Love and lies, transforms a complete deceit

Who is this stranger, have not yet to meet?

A righteous being so filled with joyous pride

So much indeed no way to disguise

One night only, awake by the sound

Thunder and flashing, tears all around

Sound of justice, of rancorous proof

Troubled waters find the real meaning of truth

Captured by the memories, non-quite profound in youth

Out of phase, touch and distance

Was once a heartbreaking insistence

The stars and moon steal shine from light

A glorious reflection wrapped up so tight

A walk beside waters taken back to my nights.

Peaceful journey alone, reconnecting the bliss

A time that is precious, all that has missed.

Much Love Much Life
