Without A Word

220

Without a word, I sit and stare

Wondering why I am even there

Examining the words said to me

Apprehension grows with a need to flee

Every breathe that is taken, longing to sigh

Undermined persuasion, wanting to cry

Without a word, I seek and run

Long before the rising sun

No reason or rhyme could not be true

Rarely there is nothing more to do

Space within the open road

Every line that’s crossed, character showed

Looking back in the rearview mirror

City dreams & lights, becoming clearer

Without a word, I weep and cry

Silence and the days go by

The change that I was looking for

Subtlety embraced and restored

Much Love Much Life
